2020 Fundraiser

We want your children to love this game and as-always we look forward to watching your child grow and enjoy their experience within our organization.

Our focus continues to be children from Blastball through to Midget. We will continuously encourage their love of the sport by having fun while teaching the fundamentals and building long lasting friendships.

Active participation of all our young members is essential.

We have had a long history of developing athletes of all skill levels and look forward to what the future of our great league has to hold. We continue to make positive changes and try to stay up-to-date with Softball Canada guidelines, we hope your experience with us as we continue to grow is a positive one.

(2014-2015) T-Ball - Saturday May 20 July 25

(2014-2015) T-Ball - Wednesday May 20 - July 22

(2012-2013) Minor Mite – Tuesday May 5 – August 4

(2010-2011) Mite – Thursday May 7 – August 6

(2008-2009) SquirtWednesday May 6 – August 5

(2006-2007) NoviceTuesday May 5 – August 4

(2005 & under) Bantam/MidgetThursday May 7 – August 6

Team/Player Requests You may request 1 player (not coach) and the request must be reciprocal, however requests are NOT guaranteed. We apologize if your child did not get their coach of choice but we assure you that each and every one of our coaches are great and have your child(ren)’s best interest at heart.

Fundraiser This season we will hold a raffle for 3 cash prizes. Each player will receive 3 books of 10 raffle tickets. A separate form will be sent to purchase your tickets, each player must take part in the fundraiser. There will also be 3 prizes drawn for 3 lucky players. You may keep all 30 tickets or sell. The draw will be held during our year end Jamboree.

Photo Day - June 13th and will be held at John F. Ross. Coaches will be handing out photo packages at your first game. Schedule will be attached.

Jamboree - August 9th we will host our annual Jamboree. Free meal for each player, $5 for additional.

Year End Tournament – Our Year End Tournament will be held August 7-9.  

Rain-Out Policy – The City Of Guelph closes diamonds by 2pm should the weather be an issue. Past 2pm Our organization will do our best to contact Coaches before 5pm in the event the weather becomes an issue. Watch your emails, Facebook and twitter feeds.

Coaches – After each game you can quickly send in your scores to [email protected]uelphminorsoftball.ca We will update your scores and standings on your individual team page!  

Annual General Meeting – Please join us on Thursday September 17th at 7pm Location TBD We will wrap up our season at this time by reviewing financial statements, division reports, answer questions and hold our elections. Anyone may attend this meeting and we strongly encourage it.

Constitutional Amendments:

The AGM is the ONLY time where amendments to the Constitution can be made. All proposed changes must be received in writing to the President ([email protected]) or (PO Box 1641 Guelph Ontario, N1H-6R7) no later than Thursday September 3rd, 2020mailto:[email protected] (2 weeks prior to the AGM). All proposed amendments must be signed and seconded.
