FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q - What equipment does my child need?
A - A glove for the proper size ball. (10" T-Ball, 11" U8 to U13, 12" U15 and up.)
Proper footwear, running shoes or non metal cleats. Sandals or open-toe shoes are not
permitted. Players will also require a helmet. A helmet with a face shield is HIGHLY
recommended for ALL divisions.
Q - What times do games start?
A - Games during the weekdays begin at 6:15 pm. It is suggested all coaches be on hand 30-45
minutes prior to game time. This gives the *Home* team time to set the up the diamond, it will
also give players a chance to warm up, stretch and do a drill or two to get prepared.
T-Ball on Wednesday arriving at 6:00 pm to start for 6:15
Games on Saturday - Blastball 9:00am
- T-Ball 9:45am
Q - What uniform is required?
A - Each child who is registered for this season will receive a team jersey and a team
hat. Each player will be required to wear closed toe shoes, no sandals, non-metal cleats are
acceptable. Socks are not provided by the league. Navy or dark colour is recommended.

Q - Where do I sign up to Coach and do I need experience?
A - No experience is needed, we are here to help. There are many drills and practice ideas on
this site. Check out the Coach's Dugout. We will also be hosting
coach's clinic this year. Our first goal is to have fun and learn.
You can indicate on your child's application your willingness to coach and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Q - Player/Coach requests. Can I request other players and coaches for my child's team?
A - Your child can make 1 request for another player, we do not guarantee requests. Your child
may not request a coach. GMSA will try to make teams as even as possible and in doing so we
are not able to grant all requests.
