Softball is a fun, inclusive outdoor activity that provides skills that will support children throughout their lives. This year, we will be running co-ed programs for children aged 3 – 15 years of age.

Divisions
Registration will be open on Tuesday for the following divisions (times and locations are subject to change based on diamond availability):

U11 Select Team
If you have interest in playing on the U11 select team please indicate so where prompted on your registration form. Tryouts are to be held in January 2026 with training over the winter months ahead of the season.
**Players must be registered for the U11 house league to be eligible for Select Team tryouts**
U13 ISA
2013-2014
Starts Mid May
Guelph Gators U13 House League will be joining the Intercounty Softball Association (ISA) allowing house league players to play in local softball centres in southwestern Ontario. Home games will be in Guelph, with travel approximately 30 minutes or less for away games
*Registration may be capped at two teams, so sign up early!!*
** Select Team members MUST register for the U13 ISA division in order to be eligible for the Select Team. Failure to register may result in your removal from the Select Team with no refunds given for expenses incurred**
U15 ISA
2011-2012
We are looking to field a U15 house league team in the ISA this year. If you have an interest in being a part of that team, please reach out to [email protected] so we may determine the suitability of this program for 2026.
Most divisions will complete their seasons by the end of July 2026. Depending on weather throughout the summer, the first week of August may be utilized to complete division playoffs. (some ISA divisions played until mid-August in 2025)
Coaching
If you are looking to coach a House League team this summer, please respond to this e-mail to let us know. Training will be provided for all coaches. Our House League program is only possible because of our excellent volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching this season, please e-mail: [email protected]
Umpires
If you would like to be an umpire for our house league division this coming season, please reach out to indicate your interest. We accept umpires from ages 12 and up, and you will need to complete Level 1 Umpire Certification. If you or your child has interest in umpiring please reach out to [email protected] for more information on registration and certification.
FREE Skills Clinics
GMSA will once again be offering free pre-season skill clinics to registered house league players of all ages. These clinics will take place beginning in mid to late February, and will run through until the end of March. While dates and locations have yet to be finalized, it is likely to be late mornings on the weekends. Please indicate your interest when prompted while registering.
