February 2023 House League Update
There is nothing like the return of winter weather to get us excited about softball season!

Places are still available in our House League program in all age groups from 3 year old Blast Ball all the way up to U17’s.

Did you know that as many as 1 in 4 girls who participated in sport prior to 2020 lockdowns have not returned to sport! It is never too late to pick up a new sport or re-join a sport after a few years off. As an association we are particularly keen to encourage teenagers back to the diamond this season.

Would your child like a skills refresher ahead of the season?
Registration is open for our final offseason Skills Development Clinic. At a reduced cost thanks to a Jump Start grant, this course will run once a week for three weeks from March 4th – March 19th

We are still in need of Coaches and Coordinators for the upcoming season. Training is provided, and volunteers will be able to work with their own child’s team. Please let us know if you are able to assist in a coaching or administrative role this season!

There has been great interest in the Select Program and we are looking forward to fielding multiple Select teams this year. Details regarding the tryouts process will be available closer to the beginning of the season.

Many Thanks,

Guelph Minor Softball Association
