House League Umpires Needed!
Guelph Minor Softball is looking for House League Umpires for the upcoming season. Umpiring is a paid position open to anyone 12 and up with an understanding of Softball. Training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the inerrancies of umpiring in a friendly environment.

Umpiring fee for the 2025 season will be $40 per game. With games lasting a maximum of 2 hours. 

We are also looking for a Carded Umpire to act as the league’s Umpire in Chief. This leadership role involves managing the group of umpires, scheduling roasters, and arranging payments. Mentorship and guidance from our Rep side Umpire in Chief will be available for someone new to the position.

Anyone wishing to apply for an umpiring positions please email houseleague@guelphminorsoftball.ca with the following information: 

 
1. Resume detailing experience (if you have no umpiring experience that is not an issue, as we will help you with training)
2. Birth date (this will not prevent you from getting a position, we just need to know as it helps with scheduling the appropriate umpire for each age group)
3. Availability (we will need to know specific availability for evenings and weekends, as we have multiple programs on different dates and times)
4. Email address (this could be your personal address or your parents' if you prefer to have communications handled through them)
5. Phone number (this could also be your personal number or parents' number if you prefer)
