Guelph Gators U13, Rep (Guelph Minor Softball Association)

With six home runs and two triples, Ellie MacKinnon owned the weekend as she led the Guelph Gators U13s to their first gold medal of the season in front of their hometown fans.

What a great weekend!  Thank you to all the players, parents, coaches and volunteers that made the Gator Classic such a success!  Thank-you to the amazing umpire crew who put in some long, hot days! A special shout out to the tournament convenors Sarah & Heather, our diamond specialist Cliff, as well as Jessica and James who helped keep things running smoothly all weekend.  

As certain as day follows night, you can count on rains making for chaotic softball tournaments in southern Ontario. Thus, it was the case for the Summer Gold tournament hosted by the Chatham Golden Eagles. As predicted, an overnight deluge of rain played havoc with planned games for Saturday. 

GMSA is hosting the Women's National Team at Exhibition Park on June 20th for an inter-squad scrimmage and interactive event!  Wear your team jersey and come meet Guelph's own Kaleigh Rafter (Head Coach) and these amazing athletes as they prepare for the Canada Cup later this summer.  Look for more details in your Inbox shortly from your Team Managers / Coaches / League Convenors.
